Platform Terms

Effective date: September 26, 2026

1. Scope and customer agreements

These general service-use terms describe authorized use of LocalFocus AI Workspace and the business automation services provided by LocalFocus AI, LLC ("LocalFocus AI," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply to businesses and their authorized users and partners using the platform.

Applicable signed customer agreements govern the commercial relationship and control conflicting commercial provisions, subject to mandatory rights and applicable provider obligations. These terms do not introduce pricing, uptime guarantees, liability caps, arbitration requirements, or cancellation terms.

Messaging a business that uses our service does not make you a LocalFocus AI business subscriber. That business's own terms and policies apply to your interaction with it. Use of our marketing website is covered by our separate Website Terms & Conditions.

2. Authorized access and integrations

Use the service only for business purposes you are authorized to carry out. Keep account credentials secure, use appropriate access permissions, and notify us if you believe an account or integration has been compromised.

Only connect accounts, Facebook Pages, communication channels, and other systems you are authorized to manage. Customers are responsible for the permissions, notices, and consents needed for their use of information and communications, and for keeping their users' access and integration settings appropriate.

Use of Facebook, Messenger, and other connected services must comply with the applicable provider terms, messaging rules, and permissions. Revoking access or disconnecting an integration may prevent future service actions; it does not itself delete existing records.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • Violate applicable law, another person's rights, provider terms, or contractual obligations.
  • Access another organization's, customer's, or user's information without authorization, or attempt to bypass access controls.
  • Send unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or unauthorized communications, or misrepresent your identity or authority.
  • Introduce malicious code, interfere with service operation, or misuse integration credentials.
  • Collect, disclose, sell, or otherwise use information in a manner prohibited by applicable law, provider terms, or agreements.

4. AI output and customer oversight

AI Agents use inherently probabilistic models and may use stochastic (randomized) generation processes. Their behavior can be nondeterministic: identical or similar inputs can produce different responses, decisions, or actions. AI-generated content and actions can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for a particular situation. Agents may make factual errors, misinterpret instructions or context, or produce unintended outcomes, even when an output appears confident or a similar task previously succeeded.

Where configured to do so, Agents can send communications and take actions without contemporaneous human review. Customers are responsible for deciding whether a workflow is suitable for AI automation, providing appropriate instructions and information, setting permissions and limits, and maintaining human oversight proportionate to the risks. Customers must evaluate and verify outputs and consequential actions as appropriate before relying on them. AI output is not a substitute for qualified professional judgment where that judgment is needed.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and except as expressly provided in an applicable signed customer agreement, LocalFocus AI makes no representation or warranty that AI-generated content or actions will be accurate, complete, reliable, consistent, suitable for a particular purpose, or free of errors, or that an Agent will achieve an intended result. Descriptions and demonstrations of AI capabilities do not guarantee future performance or outcomes.

Any agreed performance commitments and allocation or limitation of liability remain governed by the applicable signed customer agreement and applicable law. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

5. Third-party services and data responsibilities

The service may use hosting, communication, AI, and other third-party providers. Availability, permissions, and functionality can depend on those providers and the customer's configuration. Their applicable terms and policies also govern their services.

LocalFocus AI's information handling is described in our Platform Privacy Policy. Customers and partners are responsible for their own independent use and disclosure of information and for their applicable notices and obligations. This does not waive LocalFocus AI's own obligations or permit conduct prohibited by law, provider terms, or contracts.

For deletion requests, including Facebook Messenger data, use our Data Deletion Instructions. We coordinate requests manually with the relevant businesses and partners. Meta and other third parties separately control information they hold.

6. Communications sent by customers and partners

Customers, partners, and partners' customers may use Workspace, including automated Agents, to send SMS and email on their own behalf. The business on whose behalf a message is sent is responsible for its communications: their content, recipient choices, necessary notices and consent, applicable sender registrations, opt-out handling, and compliance with messaging laws and provider requirements. Applicable agreements govern the respective responsibilities of customers and partners.

Those messages do not become LocalFocus AI's own communications merely because our technology sends them. LocalFocus AI does not assume responsibility for a business's independent messaging practices solely because it uses Workspace. Refer to the identified business's notices and the instructions in its messages for assistance or to opt out. This distinction does not remove LocalFocus AI's own obligations under applicable law, provider requirements, or agreements.

7. LocalFocus AI Workspace Notifications

This section covers account and service communications sent by LocalFocus AI on its own behalf to Workspace users. It is separate from customer and partner communications described above and our demonstration and pre-sales SMS program. Consent to one sender or program does not enroll you in another.

SMS enrollment and charges

You can opt in to recurring automated texts about your account, Workspace activity, and the operation of services you use by enabling SMS notification choices and completing phone verification in LocalFocus AI Workspace. SMS enrollment is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing or using our services. Requesting a verification code authorizes that verification message; verification alone does not enroll you in recurring notifications. Notification consent does not authorize unrelated promotional messages.

Message frequency varies with activity and your notification choices. Message and data rates may apply to messages you send or receive. You are responsible for charges from your wireless provider. Provide a number you are authorized to use and update your contact information if it changes.

Stopping texts and getting help

Reply STOP to a LocalFocus AI Workspace notification text to stop texts from this program. You may receive one opt-out confirmation. This stops the program's notification texts across your workspaces. You can also manage notification choices in Workspace or contact us for assistance. To resume after opting out, reply START to the notification sender and maintain your verified number and enabled SMS choices. Changing Workspace preferences alone does not override an SMS opt-out.

For help, reply HELP or contact [email protected]. These controls concern LocalFocus AI's notification program; they do not manage messages from independent customer or partner businesses. For our information handling, see the Platform Privacy Policy.

Email communications

LocalFocus AI may send account and service emails, including authentication and security messages, administrative notices, and Workspace activity notifications. Manage optional notification emails in Workspace notification settings. Turning off optional notifications does not stop necessary account or service communications. If we send promotional emails, those messages will provide a way to unsubscribe from promotional communications.

Delivery limitations

Email and SMS delivery may be delayed, filtered, interrupted, or unsuccessful because of network, provider, device, or other conditions. Notifications are not an emergency service and should not be your sole means of monitoring time-sensitive matters. Check Workspace and maintain appropriate oversight.

To the extent permitted by law and subject to any applicable signed customer agreement, LocalFocus AI does not guarantee notification availability, timeliness, or delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Nothing in this section limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
