Platform Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 26, 2026

1. About this policy

LocalFocus AI, LLC ("LocalFocus AI," "we," "us," or "our") provides LocalFocus AI Workspace and managed AI business automation services. This policy explains how we handle information in those services, including connected Facebook Pages and Messenger conversations.

Our customers are businesses, sometimes served through a partner. They decide how to use the service for their operations and are responsible for their own independent use and disclosure of information, notices, permissions, and legal obligations. Their privacy policies also apply to your interactions with them. This distinction does not remove obligations that LocalFocus AI, customers, or partners have under applicable law, provider terms, or contracts.

Information collected through our marketing website and our own demonstration and pre-sales SMS program is described in our Website Privacy Policy. General platform use is described in our Platform Terms.

2. Information we handle

The information involved depends on the services and integrations a business enables. It may include:

  • Account and business information: names, business contact details (including email addresses and mobile numbers), organization and account identifiers, user roles, and service configuration.
  • Communications and work records: messages, attachments, contact information, conversation history, related business requests, and AI-generated responses or work results.
  • Integration information: connected account and Page identifiers, permissions, access credentials such as integration tokens, and settings needed to connect authorized services.
  • Operational information: message identifiers, timestamps, delivery and read status, service activity, device health, security records, and usage information.
  • Support and privacy requests: the information you provide so we can respond, verify a request, and coordinate its resolution.

We receive information from account users, the businesses and partners using our service, people communicating with those businesses, and their authorized connected services.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide the configured service: receive and route communications, help businesses respond to requests, run their authorized AI workflows, maintain accounts and integrations, provide support, protect the service, and meet applicable obligations.

LocalFocus AI does not sell personal data or use customer conversations to train general-purpose AI models. These commitments describe LocalFocus AI's conduct. Customer businesses are responsible for their independent data practices. External service providers process information under their applicable terms and configurations; this statement is not a guarantee about every third party's practices.

4. Where information is processed

Our service combines Nodes with a cloud platform and connected service providers. Nodes are computing environments provisioned for a customer's use. A Node may run on a LocalFocus AI-owned device at the customer's premises or in a cloud-hosted environment. Information does not remain exclusively on premises.

  • In transit: communications and other information pass between connected services, the cloud platform, Nodes, and authorized users. Cloud processing may include temporarily holding incoming communications so they can be delivered when a Node becomes available.
  • In the cloud: the platform stores account, configuration, integration, security, and operational information. Where cloud AI processing is enabled, relevant message content and context are sent through our cloud service to the configured AI provider to produce a response. Cloud processing and backups may involve our infrastructure providers.
  • On Nodes: business workflows can process and store conversation history, attachments, and work records on the Node provisioned for the customer, whether on premises or cloud-hosted. Authorized users may view that content through Workspace. Retained copies and backups depend on the customer's deployment and service arrangements.

The applicable customer agreement describes the privacy boundaries for that service. Processing also depends on the integrations, AI services, and settings in use.

5. Facebook Pages and Messenger

When a business connects a Facebook Page to LocalFocus AI Workspace, we use the granted permissions to support that business's Messenger communications. Information may include Page and participant identifiers, message text and attachments, message identifiers and timestamps, delivery or read information, and credentials needed to maintain the authorized connection.

We use this information to receive and deliver messages, maintain conversation context, and support the business's configured responses and workflows. Relevant content may be processed by an AI service as described above. Authorized staff and partners may access information needed to operate and support the business's service.

Disconnecting a Page or revoking access does not itself delete existing conversation history or other retained records. To request deletion, follow our Data Deletion Instructions. Meta separately handles information under its own policies and controls.

6. Sharing and service providers

We share information as needed to provide the service with the relevant customer business, its authorized users and partners, and providers supporting hosting, communications, AI processing, and other enabled functions. Connected services receive information needed for the actions the business has authorized. Their processing is subject to the applicable service arrangements, terms, and settings.

We may also disclose information where required by law or as necessary to address security incidents, prevent misuse, or protect legal rights, subject to applicable obligations. Customer-held copies and Meta-held data are not controlled solely by LocalFocus AI.

7. Notifications and communication choices

For LocalFocus AI's own account communications and optional Workspace notifications, we process contact details such as your email address and mobile number, verification status, consent and preference records, and delivery or opt-out information. We use this information to send requested or applicable service communications, manage your choices, protect the service, and investigate delivery issues.

You enroll in SMS notifications through your consent choices and phone verification in LocalFocus AI Workspace. Message frequency varies with activity and your choices; message and data rates may apply. Manage notification preferences in Workspace or reply STOP to a LocalFocus AI notification text to stop texts from this program across your workspaces. Disabling optional notifications does not prevent necessary account emails. See our notification terms for enrollment, help, and re-enrollment information.

We use communication service providers to deliver emails and text messages. They process the contact information, message content, and delivery information needed for those services. Where enabled by the customer's notification settings, messages may contain limited information about activity in that customer's workspace. Such information leaves Workspace and may be visible to anyone with access to the receiving inbox or device.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile information or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not transfer SMS consent to another sender or program. Providers assisting with delivery and support may process information as needed to perform those services, subject to applicable obligations; this does not authorize their independent marketing use. These restrictions qualify the general sharing provisions of this policy.

We retain necessary consent, preference, opt-out, and delivery records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, honor your choices, prevent unwanted messages, and meet applicable obligations. Opting out does not automatically delete account information or records needed to honor your choice. For privacy or deletion requests, contact [email protected].

These notification choices concern LocalFocus AI's own communications. Customers, partners, and partners' customers may separately send SMS or email on their own behalf through Workspace, including through automated Agents. Their notices and messaging choices apply to their independent communications; follow the identified sender's instructions to opt out or get assistance. Consent to their messages does not enroll you in LocalFocus AI notifications, and LocalFocus AI notification preferences do not control their messages. This policy continues to describe LocalFocus AI's own handling of information when providing the platform to those businesses.

8. Retention and deletion

Retention depends on the type of information, the service being provided, applicable customer arrangements, and legal obligations. Temporary delivery information, account records, conversation history, and backups can have different retention periods.

You can request deletion at [email protected]. We verify and scope requests and coordinate with the relevant customer businesses and partners to address conversation history and associated records or files. See our Data Deletion Instructions for what to include and what to expect.

Deleted information may remain in restricted backup copies until those backups expire through our normal retention cycle. If a backup is restored, we take steps to ensure previously deleted information is not returned to active use. We may retain information where required by law.

9. Your requests and our safeguards

Depending on applicable law and our role in handling your information, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict its use. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions, rights requests, or deletion requests. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and find the relevant records, and may involve the business responsible for your interaction.

We handle deletion requests promptly and respond within the time required by applicable law. Never send passwords, access tokens, or verification codes with a request.

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information and limit access to authorized users. No system or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

10. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the service or applicable obligations change and will update its effective date. For questions, contact LocalFocus AI, LLC at [email protected].
