Data Deletion Instructions

Request deletion by email

To request deletion of information handled through LocalFocus AI Workspace or our business automation services, email [email protected]. LocalFocus AI, LLC handles these requests manually, including requests relating to Facebook Messenger conversations with a business using our service.

You do not need a LocalFocus AI Workspace account to send a request.

1. Identify the interaction. Include your Facebook profile name or link and the name or link of the business Page you messaged. For other channels, identify the business and the account or contact information you used to communicate with it.
2. Explain what you want deleted. A brief description and approximate dates can help us locate the conversation and related information. Avoid sending unnecessary copies of private conversations or attachments.
3. Watch for our response. We may ask for proportionate additional information to verify your identity or authority and clarify which records your request covers.

Never send passwords, access tokens, or verification codes. We do not need those secrets to handle a deletion request.

What happens next

We verify and scope the request, identify the relevant customer businesses or partners, and coordinate removal of conversation history and other associated records and files. We address information managed by LocalFocus AI and notify the relevant businesses or partners where their action is needed.

We handle deletion requests promptly and respond within the time required by applicable law.

Our response will explain the outcome and any relevant limitations, including information retained where required by law or action needed from a business, partner, or other provider. If you have questions about the response, reply to us at [email protected].

Different copies and responsibilities

• LocalFocus AI-managed information: we address the information within our service and coordinate the relevant deletion work.
• Customer or partner-held information: a business or partner may retain its own copies, exports, or related business records. We coordinate with them, but their independent records and legal obligations may also require you to contact them directly. We cannot promise deletion from systems we do not control.
• Meta-held information: this request does not delete data held independently by Meta or delete your Facebook account. Use Meta's own privacy and account controls for information Meta holds.

Disconnecting a Facebook Page, removing an app, or revoking access does not itself delete existing information held by LocalFocus AI or a customer business. Send a deletion request if you want us to address retained information.

Backups and required retention

Deleted information may remain in restricted backup copies until those backups expire through our normal retention cycle. If a backup is restored, we take steps to ensure previously deleted information is not returned to active use. We may retain information where required by law.
